Welcome to our 2025 ReMade Experience Artists!

One of our favorite components of ReMADE is our Experience Artist stations, where our guests get to participate in an artist-led experience with a complimentary creative take-away.

Here’s what you’ll enjoy at ReMADE this year:

TAKE A MOMENT

by Jon Flannery and Joe Walsh

Take a Moment is an ongoing collaboration between Jon Flannery and Joe Walsh, creating one-off posters by combining screen printing and hand drawn illustrations.

You may remember this incredible duo from last year, and Jon and Joe will join us again to lead you in printmaking prompts for your own specialized print.

PORTRAITS

with Julia Lipovsky

Julia is an incredible Cincinnati based illustrator (and long time Hippo friend), bringing nature, movement and play to her beautiful pencil and watercolor drawings in addition to dabbling other creative mediums like adding her iconic motifs to surfaces ranging from shop windows to pottery.

Julia is joining us to capture your beautiful faces in colored pencil portraits during ReMADE!

ZINES

with the Art Academy of Cincinnati’s Zine Club

The Art Academy has always been a special friend of Indigo Hippo and over the years we have had many interns from the AAC, and regularly see students in our space

The Zine Club will be hosting a zine-making table where you will get to learn how to make a quick one page zine, and personalize the content with creative reuse collage materials and embellishments, all provided from Indigo Hippo’s storefront!

ELEMENTZ

Elementz Cincinnati is Cincinnati’s premier Hip Hop cultural art center, with programming focusing on culturally relevant art forms from Hip Hop dance, DJing, music technology/beat production, spoken word/poetry, and visual art in the animation and graffiti style. Elementz was created to give voice to young people in the urban core and to disrupt the status quo, encouraging positive change in the community through civic engagement.

Elementz instructors Christiana Tate and Da’Shawn Mitchell will be performing at ReMADE, garbed in upcycled wearables created by Khalil Jackson, Elementz alumni and fashion designer.
